Lawler takes 200 at Belfast International (update)

Marcus Lawler won the 200 at today’s Belfast international Gold Medal Meet, celebrating Mary Peters Olympic gold medal of 50 years ago. Marcus took the win in a time of 21.05, a season’s best. He also placed 3rd in the 100 clocking 10.78. Simon Galligan also had a good day throwing the hammer sixty plus with a best of 60.29 to finish 2nd. In the mixed discus competition Eoin Sheridan threw 48.54.

Also in Dagenham, England on Saturday Luke Lennon Ford won the 400 in 47.41.
