The DSD Games took place at the DSD sports complex today. Leah Bergin had another fine run over 400 finishing 2nd in 55.56. Also in that race Clodagh Dunbar was 4th (59.04) and Anna Heavey 5th (60.22). In the 800 Jenny Johnston was 9th 2.23.23. Craig Duffy was fastest of the Clonliffe sprinters finishing 2nd in his race in 11.09. Keith Pike was 2nd in his race 11.12, 2nd also for Kenji Miyauchi (11.33) with Michael Deady 3rd (11.51). Michael also ran the 200 where he clocked 23.83. Finally the best to last Edel Maguire clocked 28.78 for her 200, a massive Irish Masters W60 record, bettering the previous 30.15 record held by one Edel Maguire!
Across the water Liam Roarty made his debut for Gateshead in the Northern league in Shildon placing 2nd in the 5000 (16.57).
