The Leinster Track and Field Championships took place in Tullamore on Sunday, June 4th. Snezana Bechtina took up her outdoor season from where she had finished in her indoors: on the winners rostrum. Snezana took all three W35 sprints, and all in new Leinster Championship Records: 100m -12.89, 200m-26.54 and 400m -59.59, to take three golds.
Further in the Masters championships Frances Mansfield was once again in action taking two Golds in the throws: W70 Discus 13.73m and Hammer 14.20m.
Master`s Gold also for David Donegan in the M35 Pole Vault with a 4.40m best.
In the Leinster seniors there was Gold also for Leah Bergin in the senior 400 in 58.41 with Emma Kelly taking bronze in 61.63. Keith Marks won the long jump with a 6.85m jump with Niall Counihan 3rd (6.50m). Niall also took gold in the triple jump (13.75m).
