Brian MacMahon led the field home in the first BHAA race of 2016 winning the Bank of Ireland 4 mile cross country in Tymon Park in 24.10. Bernadette Kiernan was a fine 5th in the women`s 2 mile race (15.34). At the Great Edinburgh Cross Country held in Holyrood Park, Edinburgh Clonliffe juniors Cathal Doyle and Brian Flanagan were in the green of Ireland in the Celtic Nations Junior placing 4th and 5th (20th and 21st in the overall Junior race).
