With Gary O`Hanlon out of the country, currently on international duty at World Mountain Running Championships in Poland, things are fairly quiet on the highways and byways of this Emerald Isle. A short weekend roundup so far : Clonliffe`s Mark Bermingham had a fine maiden win on the roads today in the shadow of Croagh Patrick as he won the Westport Half Marathon in an impressive time of 78.15, not far off his pb. At yesterday`s BHAA 10k in Firhouse Tom Sherlock had a top 10 finish, 9th in 35.45.
