Marcus Lawler was in action this evening in the Northern Spanish city of Salamanca taking in both sprints. A 10.50, the 2nd fastest time recorded by a Clonliffe Harrier, in the heats served as a warm up for the Carlow man’s favoured 200. In the 200 Marcus ran 20.82, bettering his 20.99 club record recorded in Belfast last Saturday, however the wind was just over the legal limit. Next week it’s onto Geneva in search of faster times and more ranking points as the quest for Tokyo continues.
