Athletics Ireland have today announced Clonliffe Olympian Mark Kenneally as it’s Performance Endurance Lead with overall responsibility in driving the further development of the middle- and long-distance event groups in Ireland at the Performance level within the AI High Performance team.
Mark is a life member of Clonliffe Harriers having represented Ireland in the Marathon at the 2012 London Olympic Games. He was National Cross Country Champion in 2010, having been runner up in 2005, 2007 and 2009 and a key member of the Clonliffe winning team on five occasions. He represented Clonliffe in the European clubs and Ireland at seven Euro Cross Championships, including that never to be forgot 2009 version in Santry as well as four World Cross Country championships. Mark has a marathon PB of 2:13.55 and on the track 13:36 for 5000m and 28:33 for 10,000m.
