The IUAA Championships took place in Belfast on Friday and Saturday. Keith Marks was again a double champion winning both the high jump (1.90m) and long jump (7.08m).
In the sprints the mens 100 took 3 rounds, with Chris Sibanda eventually placing 4th: 11.03, 10.95 and 11.10 in the final. Leo Morgan: 11.34, 11.19 and in the final 11.49 for 7th. Keith Pike 11.43 in his heat and then went out in the semi 11.30, Isreal Ibanu 11.56 in his heat. In the 200 Chris again placed 4th in the final with a 22.43 run after recording 22.07 in his heat, while Isreal ran 23.12 in his heat.
Diana Markina had a busy day 19.89 in the 100, 4.07m in the long jump and 5.96m in the shot.
Adam O’Brien was 4th in the 10,000 in 32.31.98 with Eoin Taggart running 33.00.43 in placing 7th and Greta Stremikyte guested in the1500 where she was 5th in 4.44.36.
