Updated: Matei Ursachi has an excellent win for his school, St. Paul’s, in the Tailteann Schools Inter Provincial championships in Carlow today in the boys 1500 SC in 4.33.73. Undoubtedly it was a battle to the line which Matei took by about half a second! In the 800 Rory Quill (St. Aidans) was 8th in 2.00.25.
Monday, 26th, Matei selected in the Steeplechase on the Irish Schools International team for the Schools International track and field taking place on July 15th in Grangemouth, Scotland.
