Morton Games needs you!

The club are looking forward to Santry Night Fever with the return of Morton Games on Saturday, July 2. The organising committee have been putting in a huge amount of work to put together the meet to make it a success. We are now at the stage where we need the Clonliffe club members to do what they always do which is to raise your hand and say “I want to help”.

We are currently putting together teams that will look after various tasks. The team leaders are currently putting together their teams and this is where you come in.

The Dublin airport meet and greet team – this is headed by Alan O’Neill, this group are tasked with meeting the international athletes when they arrive in Dublin, some on Thursday, June 30 but the vast majority on Friday, July 1. This team will be responsible for greeting the athletes, giving them some information about the meet and then walking them to the courtesy bus at Dublin airport that would bring them to their hotel. If you are available can you contact Alan O’Neill direct by email:

Stewards team- this team will be responsible for looking after admission gates, car parking, general stewarding duties in the stadium. There are 2 teams being put together, the 1st by Eugene Coppinger and the 2nd by Ben Lawler. If you are available can you contact Eugene or Ben direct. You will be needed on July 2 from around 3:30 PM onwards.
