It was an early start in the Phoenix Park this morning for the national 10 K Road championships, incorporated in the Great Ireland Run. It was a sunny crisp spring morning, perfect for running, with the Clonliffe crew putting in a fine early morning shift. Sean Doran led the club packed home in 5th place (31.45), 21st in 33.52 was Declan Power who also took national M/50 gold, Anto Doran was 41st (35.00) and Matt McGuinness 87th (37.18). The provisional results have the Clonliffe men’s team in silver.
