Clonliffe was well represented at the Championships this weekend. All in all the competition was very tough in some events and there were some thrilling competitions between athletes.
Despite some absences through injury, most of the best were there as the event was a decider for many as to who shall represent Ireland in Paris at the IAAF World Championships Paris 23-31 August. Some athletes had already achieved the ‘B’ standard but unfortunately in this situation only one athlete will be sent to Paris.
