Andrew who cleared 1.96 to win the event entered the competition at 1.55m. Andrew took two attempts to clear 1.78 but after that if was plain sailing to clear the winning height of 1.96.
Andrew then went on to make one attempt at 1.98 before calling it a day. His winning height of 1.96 equalled the record held by Adrian O’Dwyer from 1999.
