400m runner Luke Lennon Ford, who has just joined Clonliffe Harriers, was the club`s only competitor at tonight`s big indoor international in Athlone where he finished 3rd in a time of 47.14. The former GBR 4 x 400 team member, who competed in last Summer`s Morton Games, will don the Clonliffe colours for the first time at this weekend`s Nationals in Abbottstown. Interesting fact: Luke was a bronze medallist at the European U/23 Championships in Ostrava in 2011 behind silver medallist Brian Gregan.
