A woman with the wind in her sails this morning was Ciara Peelo who continued the excellent results for the Clonliffe women of late. At the Dublin Road Novice 5k Championships held in conjunction with the Tallaght 5K 2008 Olympic sailor Ciara clocked a huge PB of 18.44, her first sub 19 minute clocking, to win Dublin Novice Bronze. Overall Ciara was 9th woman and 2nd W40.
Also on Sunday the Clonliffe colours were flying at Town Moor, near Newcastle, England as Liam Roarty clocked an eight seconds PB over 10 K (33.06) in finishing 16th in the Heaton Memorial 10k.
