The Clonliffe women`s Novice team placed 4th in the Dublin Novice cross country this afternoon in the Phoenix Park. The team was lead home by rising star Bernadette Kiernan who placed a most commendable 5th followed home by Rachel Wisdom, who has been preforming very well on the roads of late in 11th, Louise Caraher 23rd and Clodagh Moriarty 24th made up the scoring four. Other good runs from Maura Matthews, Kerri Page, and Katie Miller.
The men had a bad day at the office, having won this title last year were well off the pace in the Park finishing in 7th place. Placings: 18th Conor Keane, 20th Tom Sherlock, 27th B. O`Brien, 43rd Sean Doran, 47th Joseph Cooper, 58th Dave Dunwoody, 93rd Tom Frayne.
