Road racer extraordinaire Gary O’Hanlon continued his relentless Dublin Marathon preparations with a win in this morning`s big road race, the Dublin Half Marathon. After the torrential rain of yesterday evening and last night the day dawned clear and bright with another bumper crowd descending on the Phoenix Park including a great number of Clonliffe Harriers.
Gary lead the field home clear by some two minutes winning in 69.43. Other Clonliffe included: Davy Byrne 77.31, Conor Keane 77.35, Tom Sherlock 79.12, Joe Phibbs 81.06 (a pb by a massive 2 minutes), Mark Bermingham 81.07, Dave Brady 81.07, Jeremy Chapman 83.28, Joseph Cooper 85.16, Keiran Murphy 85.19, Jacqui Dunphy 88.05, Paddy Tuite 88.07 (2nd in age group), Dermot Faughan 88.09, Colm McDonnell 88.16, Denis Collins 88.42, Pat Byrne 1.32.28 (3rd in age group), new member Paul Carty 1.33.18, Ronan McDermott 1.33.25, Paul Gallagher 1.36.49, Kevin Sheehy 1.38.54, Andrew Eustace 1.41.08, Pat Devitt 1.41.39, Alan Curley 1.41.49 (Omissions text name and time to 0879599888)
