Overseas track catch up

A few of the overseas brigade had been racing lately on the track in England but were missed. Tom Pitkin on May 21 finished 2nd in the 400 hurdles in the Loughborgh international in a time of 52.93 and followed that up on May 29 with a 400 flat recording a time of 49.51 in the Newham and Essex Beagles summer series. Orna McGinley, recovering nicely from injury, clocked a 3000 pb on May 17 of 10.42.97 in the Rosenheim League. Finally today Eoin Pierce took in his first outdoor track race of the season finishing 8th in the Sir Roger Bannister mile in Oxford in a time of 4.10.82.
