The Clonliffe U/16,17,18s took a break from the training grind today for a ParkRun in St. Anne’s, Raheny meeting at 8.45 for their warm up and ready to roll at 9.30. There was a good turnout of 10 from the squad and all put in excellent runs with a number of shiny new pbs recorded. The girls were led home by Katie Halpin 2nd woman, in 21.07, 3rd woman was Orla O’Sullivan with a 21.11 pb, 5th woman was Naoise Cullen, another pb, 21.21, Ella Brown 22.25, Amy Sheehy, pb, 22.52, Ella Cooley 23.05, Lara Gallagher 23.52, Aimee Daly 24.51, Cara Curran 26.59, Hollie Foy 28.50. In Cork new Clonliffe signing Clodagh Galvin also ran a Park Run recording a time of 19.51. Great ParkRuns also by a couple of the club’s even younger athletes Sean Cronin 18.14 and Hazel Kenny 22.18.
Next up for the girls is the Brother Schools XC on October 9th, followed by the even age Dublin Cross Country Championships on October 20th.
