Ramesy does Grand Prix double

The Grand Prix Presentation night took place last Thursday evening in a packed Harry Cooney Room in the club house.

 

Going into the last race Ernie Ramsey held a commanding 11 point lead over club treasurer Paddy Tuite. Unknown to Paddy his performance on the day saw him claw back the 11 points. As both athletes tied the deciding factor is the athletes total points scored over all their races entered. Ernie scored 206 points to Paddy’s 194.

 

The Behan & Associates Noel Guiden Snr Memorial Cup was presented by Grand Prix sponsor Noel Guiden to Ernie Ramsey.

 

Fred Connolly presented the Pat Linane Memorial Cup to Ernie who also won the fastest athlete award retaining the title he won last year.
