Aug 8, 2007 [Noel Guiden] Better reported later rather then never! So with apologies for the delay Alistair Cragg ran two PB`s over the space of five days towards the end of July. First up he took in a 5,000m in Brasschaat, Belgium on July 21st where he finished second to Bekana Daba (ETH) in an excellent time of 13:07.1 not only a PB but a new club record and the fastest time recorded by a European this year to date. Next up, and after making the decision to watch the Nationals from the side line resting a slight calf injury, he travelled to the Stade Louis II in Monaco for the IAAF Super Grand Prix on July 25th recording another PB, this time over 3,000m of 7:32.49, bettering his previous PB by all of six seconds. This was Craggs 4th PB of the season adding these to his 10,000m PB and Irish record of 27:39.55 recorded on April 29th and his 1500m PB of 3:36.18 set on May 20th. As a matter of interest Cragg has the qualifying times for Osaka now in the 1500, 5,000 and 10,000!
