Clonliffe athletes braved driving cold rain in a winter like Tallaght Stadium this evening for the dublin Juvenile (uneven) ages relays and made the trip well worthwhile with 2 sets of silver and bronze brought back to Santry. The U/17 girls delivered on the double as Kate Hession, Sally Ahern, Hope Saunders and Laura Tuite took silver in the 4 x 400 closing all the time on DSD and bronze in the 4 x 100 with a team of Kate Hession, Sally Ahern, Laura Tuite and winning her first Dublin medal Alanah Cooley. The U/15 boys team of Darren Redmond, Alex Hogan, Keith Hodson and Joseph Hession won an excellent silver from a full 8 lane field. There were also brave performances from the U/13 girls, U/13 boys and 2nd U/15 teams. Well done to all in displaying that Nil Desperandum spirit.
