Stephen Bateson Reports: On a warm but blustery morning at the Tallaght 5k Road race this morning, Richie Owens lead from start to finish in a time of 15:51 some 28 secs ahead of 2nd place. The course is deceptively tough with 2 long straights and some undulating terrain. Next across the line in 24th position was Eoghan Murphy in 17:25. Eoghan has been struggling to get over a long term injury and recent weeks have seen a return to form. Cian Murray put in a strong performance to finish in 17:55 in 29th and 2nd Junior. This is 2 solid runs in a week for Cian. In 58th place Lee Duddy finished in 19:51.
