Earlier that morning Jack Maughan was 1st home in the Malahide Parkrun in 16.46.
This morning in the Phoenix Park the Irish Runner 5 Mile took place, again in blistering conditions. Declan Power was the top Clonliffe athlete in 5th place 26.44. Followed in by Eoghan Murphy 30.12, Trevor Wisdom 33.03, Mick Gleeson 33.24, Shane Rooney 36.12, Aisling Andrews, Laura Kiernan, Mark Dowling (all 36.23), Niall Markey 38.58, Mandy McMenamy 40.09, Ciara Faherty 40.20, Dave Lyons 41.04, Paula Horan 44.20, Caroline Hynes 44.25.
