At the end of day 1 defending champion Rolus Olusa leads Shane Aston (Trim AC) in the National Decathlon. In today’s rounds Rolus was: 2nd in the 100 11.35, 1st Long Jump 7.06m, 3rd Shot 11.72m ,1st High Jump 1.90m and 3rd in the 400 52.37 The leaderboard shows Rolus on 3624 points with Aston on 3484. The athletes are at it again bright and early in the morning.
