Colm Rooney warmed up for the Nationals in two weeks time with a comfortable win in this morning`s BHAA Garda 4 mile cross country race in the Phoenix Park as Clonliffe athletes dominated proceedings.
Rooney`s time of 21.19 put him 12 seconds clear of training partner Tudor Mircea in 2nd place (21.31) with Brian MacMahon on his return after injury finishing 4th (21.45). Other Clonliffe 17th Tom Sherlock 23.41, 24th Conor Keane 24.04, 32nd Niall Sherlock 25.02.
In the women`s 2 Mile race Louise Reilly was 2nd in 13.01 with Bernadette Kiernan 4th (13.10) and Loaise Moggan 20th (15.10)
