Colm Rooney took in his local Portmarnock 5 mile multi terrain race last night where he enjoyed a right battle with UK visitor Jonathan Escalante Phillip, a 14.10 5000 athlete. At the finish on the beach Colm was 2nd in 25.08 4 seconds behind the winner, these two were some two and a half minutes clear of third.
