Rooney gets back to winning ways in Raheny mid Summer 5k

In his second come back race Colm Rooney did the business in the Raheny 5k this morning taking a fine win in 15.21. This is great news for Colm and Clonliffe. Colm has been out of the sport for a long five years, but has been training very hard under coach Peter McDermott putting in great group sessions Tuesday, Thursday and Saturdays since the turn of the year. Welcome back Colm we`ve missed you.  Emma Cooper was 2nd in women`s race and 46th overall in 18.08. Richard Connolly ran 21.57.
