Jun 3, 2007 [Noel Guiden] The Irish Milers Club held a couple of high class races yesterday in Tullamore in conjunction with the Irish School`s All Ireland finals (see Brian McDonald`s posting for the excellent results from Clonliffe athletes), the highlight of which was the Ronnie Delaney Mile. In keeping with the performances of his younger club mates in the Schools Clonliffe`s Colm Rooney had a superb run to take victory in a time of 4:03.88 from Mark Christie (Mullingar)4:04.79 and Lee Merrie (Guernsey AC) 4:05.74.
