After the Dublin Juvenile Championships in Abbotstown today the seniors took to the turf for the Athletics Ireland Autumn Cross Country. There were a number of the club`s athletes in action. In the men`s race Colm Rooney was first of the Clonliffe contingent in 16th place (24.12), 44th Eoin Taggart (26.22), 46th Thomas Sherlock (26.29)52nd Sean Doran (27.10), 66th Paul Keenan (30.52).
In the junior race Adam O`Brien placed 9th (19.42), with Sean Carrigg 26th (20.51).
Also competing were several Masters: 107th Niall Markey (31.33), 109th Tom Monks (33.13) and M65 5th Matt Slattery (19.32).
The only Clonliffe lady was Alannah Cooley 22nd in the junior race.
