The National Indoor League starts with Round 1 in Abbotstown this Sunday, the 9th. Round 2 is on January 23rd in Athlone with the final for qualifying teams back in Abbotstown on February 12th.
Updated instructions from Athletics Ireland:
– Covid this event will be held behind closed doors, which means no spectators including coaches. This is a venue restriction.
There is an exception however, each Team is allowed 2 Team Managers along with up to 2 Officials who must help out at the event. Team Managers Are responsible for U18 Athletes.
– Presently the restrictions in place with the NIA around COVID are that everyone attending must show proof of vaccination, recovery from COVID in the previous 180 days or a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours of the end of competition. This must be shown at check in.
– Each team will have 2 wristbands for their managers to gain entry.
