On what was a great weekend on the Indoor track it`s great to report on the success of other sections of the club over the course of the weekend. The Clonliffe Meet & Train ladies continue to go from strength to strength and yesterday completed the final round at Cherryfield Park, Firhouse of the cross country league with the A team topping the Gold standard, while the B team were runner up in the Bronze standard. The finishers yesterday were: Louise caraher-2nd, “the Comeback Kid” Kate Purcell-10th,. Jen Carpentet-11th, Ashling Andrews-12th, Laura Kearnan-16th, Catherine Dempsey-24th, Emer Brennan 26th, Marie Ralph-50th, Mandy-61st. Joanne mc Cabe 64th, Evelyn Brennan-65th and Francis Logue-78th.

Also over the weekend Liam Roarty ran for Sunderland Harriers in the English National Cross Country at Parliament Hill, London. From a starting field of almost 2,000 Liam place 475th and 3rd scorer for Sunderland as the Harriers placed 54th from 170 clubs!!
Meanwhile on the roads yesterday Rachel Wisdom was 2nd lady in the Wicklow Hospice 10k in Rathdrum in 39.50
