Ailish Malone ran a fine Half Marathon PB across the water at today`s (March 17th) Mizuno Reading Half Marathon. The race conditions were described as “horrible” but that didn`t deter Ailish who ran a fine time of 79.23.
Closer to home Dave Fitzmaurice was 2nd behind John Coghlan (MSB) in yesterday`s (March 16th) MSB St. Patrick`s 5K on the streets of Dublin in a good fast time of 15.08, some 16 seconds behind Coghlan, a good run particularily as this was Fitzie`s first race after missing both the European Club`s and National Cross Country through injury. Gary O`Hanlon was 6th in 15.15.
Needless to say Gary being Gary found another race 24 hours later today`s (March 17th) Jimmy`s 10k in Downpatrick where he was 2nd in 31.39 behind Eddie McGinley (Annadale)
