Round up, including a win for Guiden in Bohermeen

At Saturday evening’s big road race in Bohermeen, County Meath, The Patrick Bell 5k, Ian Guiden took a fine win, regaining the title he took in 2022. Ian won in 14.37 in front of Drogheda & District AC pairing of Tagh Donnelly and Aaron Hanlon. Sean Doran took 6th place (15.32), Mark McDonald was 18th (16.08) with David Comiskey 109th (19.34), the team placing 4th. Emer Brennan clocked 25.27.

Also on Saturday David Brady was 5th in the Glenmore 10 Mile Running Festival.

Sunday, the 9th, the Dublin Marathon race Series Irish Life Corkagh Park 5 mile had a number of Clonliffe participants: John Torsney 30.26, Garett Loy 30.36, Matt McGuinness 31.00, Dave Comiskey 33.22, Alex Eustace 35.06, Joyce O’Hare 35.09, Claire Smith 36.05, Rachel Eustace 38.05, Evelyn Brennan 42.43, Sean Scott 43.26, Joanne McCabe 43.24, Emma Harding 44.29, Emma Cooper 44.29, Anthony O’Brien 45.21, Emer Brennan 46.18.
