At yesterday’s Ton le Goithe “wind sprints” meet yesterday Stephen Rice won the javelin with a best of 64.60 with Alan Gunning 3rd (52.27). Today on the road at the Tallaght 5k Valdas Dopolskas was 2nd in 14.51 behind Hiko Tonosa (DSD) with Colm Rooney 5th 15.18, 14th Alex Gibbons 16.31, Joseph Keane 27th 16.50. Those four combined to take the team win.
Across the water Eoin Pierce put in a 1.55 800. At the BUC Championships Jayme Rossister ran 9.32 in the 3000 sc to safely go through to tomorrow’s final.
