Round up: Waterford Half and Jingle Bells

A busy day for Clonliffe athletes today (Saturday December 1st) in addition to the 40 athletes taking part in the Irwin Cup there were Clonliffe athletes in Waterford and the Phoenix Park. First to the Waterford Half Marathon where Gary O`Hanlon ran another good half, 67.34 to finish 2nd, Declan Power was 9th (73.04) and new boy Ronan O`Reilly another impressive outing this time running 79.41 to place 18th.

Also today the Donore Jingle Bells 5k took place in the Phoenix Park, top Clonliffe athlete was Michael McDiarmada 8th in 15.20, next in was Darren Reilly 12th in (15.36) , then Mark mcDonald 16th (15.44) and Kris Valters 20th (15.54). Good runs also by: Andrew Jenkinson 17.11, Tom Sherlock 17.17, Tom Frayne 17.18, Nigel Brunton 17.59 (a come back perhaps?), Louise Reilly 18.14, Rob Cummins 18.24, Alan Worrell 19.25, Richard Mannion 19.45, Cambodian Acient Khmer Path race winner Aisling Coppinger 20.11, David Gomm 25.21 (sorry for anyone missed)
