Sara McCormack ran a superb race in today`s World Mountain Running Championships in Krynica-Zdroj, Poland. The Clonliffe athlete was never out of the top 3 throughout and it was only in the final climb that she slipped from 3rd to finish 6th. With strong performances from the rest of the Irish Team the reward was super team bronze, which Sara now adds to her team gold from last December`s European Cross Country. Brian MacMahon was best of the men in 33rd place, while James Kevan was 88th and Gary O`Hanlon 98th, the Irish placing 11th overall.
