Lorraine O’Connor proudly wore the Irish green vest for the 1st time today running on the Irish U/20 team at Temple Newsam, Leeds in the UK cross country challenge – Home countries and Celtic nations cross country. Lorraine was 1st Irish athlete home finishing in a commendable 17th position, with the team placing 3rd.
Also today at the Rathcoffey 10k in counting to their Declan Power finished in 10th position (34.16) and Noel O’Dwyer 48th (39.48).

At the Donadea National 50k Championships Anne Lyons, who completed the race in an impressive time of 4:38:24!
Shane Rooney takes up the strory: “Despite the challenging, muddy underfoot conditions, Anne’s trail-running experience shone through. She showcased her strength and endurance by running negative splits on the final two laps of the 10-lap course, securing 2nd place in the Female Over-50 category.
Anne continues to inspire us all, proving that dedication and hard work lead to incredible achievements.
