The Irish Universities Cross Country Championships took place today close to home at Trinity playing fields on a beautiful sunny Santry afternoon. Ben Guiden was 19th and 4th scorer for DCU who placed 2nd team behind NUIG. Stephen Cashin for Trinity was 36th with Ian MacAlweeney (DCU) 77th. Well done also to Clonliffe training group member Jen Elvin of Trinity and Finn Valley AC who placed an excellent 6th place and took team gold.
Tudor Mireca needless to say got another race in today this time in Bundoran, county Donegal finishing 3rd in 51.58. Mary Ketterer was 125th in a time of 71.49.
Also today Aisling Killilea was 1st woman in the Castlerea, Co. Roscommon Park Run clocking 21.13.
