The World Athletics Belfast International cross country saw young Sean Cronin put in an outstanding run in the Celtic international U/17 to finish in a fine fifth place and lead the Irish team to silver behind Scotland. In the U/20 race Niall Carbery finished 39th, Ronan Donohue 47th and Jack Woods 50th. The senior race saw Sean O’Leary finish 19th in a time of 31.31 for the 10,000 M race distance with Sergiu Ciobanu 26th (32.10). Declan Power finished eighth in the open senior/master 4000 m race in a time of 14.17.
