On what was a very busy Saturday Simon Galligan took 1st place in the hammer at the winter throws event in Dunboyne with a best of 60.16. This was very promising opening for Simon, his 1st competition basically since the conclusion of last summer’s season. In the javelin Hubert Adamczyk made his debut in the black and amber singlet finishing in 5th place with a best of 42.20.
