Feb 1, 2010 [Jeremy Lyons] Clonliffe’s seniors, juniors and masters lifted 6 golds from yesterday’s Leinster Indoors in Nenagh. Three of those came in the 400m event, with Ciaran Mackey running an excellent 51.65 to take the Junior men, John Fagan ran 51.31 to take the Senior men and Orna McGinley was victorious in the Senior womens 400m in 62.85. Orna also got gold in the Triple Jump in 10.34 which augurs well for the women’s team and their push in the National League this summer. Master`s gold came via George Maybury coming down in distance winning O/55 400m.
Shauna Furman won the Junior 60m Hurdles in 9.69 and Conor Healy was just edged out by Alan O’ Brien in the 800m to take silver in 1:57.7H. Patrick O’ Conner took silver in the Junior 200m (23.45) and bronze in the 60m while Stuart Roche got bronze in the Junior 200m (24.27). Conor Coleman finished 5th in the Senior 60m in 7.33.
John Hartnett took masters silver the O/40 60m in 7.72.
