Matt Slattery continued on his winning ways at the National Masters Indoors in Athlone today. After sweeping the boards in the Leinsters a couple of weeks back Matt went easy on the opposition today in only competing in two events; the result two gold! First off O/65 gold in the 400 in 63.98 and then kilewise in the 200 (28.78).
Gold also today for George Maybury winning O/60 800 in 2.36.61. Ronan Gately took silver in the O/45 60 h in 12.88, later placed 6th in the 400 (59.05) and 4th in the long jump (4.58m).
Silver was won in the O/35 long jump by Antiono Andujor (5.71m). Tom Monks was 4th in the O/55 3000 (11.30.15). Martin Treacy was 5th in the O/55 1500 (no time).
