Snezana Bechtina entered four events at the National Masters in Tullamore today. The result: four W35 National titles! The clean sweep came in the sprints and long jump. In the 100 she clocked a time of 13.06, 200 25.93 and 400 58.77 to take three track golds and with a best in the long jump of 4.74m added that gold to her collection. A superb performance.
Matt Slattery also took gold winning M65 200 (29.24).
George Maybury was 3rd in the M60 1500 (2.45.90). Ciara Peelo in W35 was just out of the medals finishing 4th in the 400 (62.35) and 4th also in the 800 (2.24.22). Fergal O`Shea also competed well today 6th in M50 800 in 2.18.34 and 7th in the 1500 (4.59.02)
