It was another excellent weekend, in what is becoming a breakthrough season, for Craig Duffy for Brockport University at the State University of New York Athletics Conference indoor track and field championships, hosted by Brockport University in New York state. Yesterday, the 23rd, Craig ran yet another personal best in the 60, 6.90, to win his heat, in fact was the fastest time recorded of the day, to book himself into today’s final. In the final Craig took a superb silver for the “Golden Eagles” in a time of 6.93. Craig also competed in the 200, he finished 2nd in yesterday’s heat in 22.26 and was 4th in today’s final in 22.30. Both very impressive times on a flat indoor track.
Unfortunately Gavin Cougle had a weekend to forget in the big East Championships in Chicago for Butler University placing 12th overall in yesterday’s 400 heats in a time of 49.10.
