Super Half Marathon debut by Kate Hawkshaw plus BHAA

Kate Hawkshaw, the Clonliffe 2022 Club Cross country Champion, now living in London, ran her first Half Marathon this morning in Berlin clocking a superb 1:23.20 finishing 54th senior woman. Kate ran a controlled race, resisting the temptation to go out too fast and picked up the tempo with each 5k split: 20.01, 19.50, 19.38, 19.35.

Yesterday, the 1st, at the latest BHAA race, the Dublin City Council 4 mile in St. Anne’s Park there was a fair smattering of Clonliffe athletes led home in 3rd place by Tom Sherlock (21.31) and Declan Power 5th, and 1st M50 (21.55), for results see bhaa.ie.
