Young Clonliffe Harrier thrower Megan Comiskey set two new Clonliffe Harriers club records in last weekend’s Swiss U/20 winter throwing Championships at the Allmed Stadium, Luzern, Switzerland on February 25th. The Swiss based athlete, who joined Clonliffe Harriers last year, won gold in the discus with a best of 43.09 and silver in the hammer (46.08). The weights for both implements are the same in U/20 and senior competition. Both throws now replace Caoimhe Morris’ 10 year old records, 35.67 and 45.22 respectively, in the Clonliffe club record books.
