Time to catch up! Tuesday July 16th Sean Doran was a run away winner of the BHAA/South Dublin County Council 5k Road race in Firhouse in 15.57, a winning margin of a minute. Friday, the 19th at the Bob Burke 4 mile, Grande West, County Cork Sergiu Ciobanu was 3rd in 20.20. Also 20th Garrett Loy (23.47) and Ned O’Brien 31.28.
Saturday, the 20th, Katie Halpin was in London taking in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Parkrun, finishing 8th woman in around 21 minutes.
Saturday evening and Sean Doran won his second race of the week, the Dessie McGann 10k in Kiltale, Co. Meath. The winning time was 33.31, and again a winning margin of a minute. David Brady was 10th in 38.23.
Sunday the 21st, The National 10 mile took place in the Phoenix Park with Clonliffe interest. First Clonliffe home was Sean McGarrity 73rd in 59.26.
