Clonliffe athletes excelled in Athlone today at the GloHealth National Indoor U/23. National titles were won by Andrew Heney in the High Jump (2.00m) and Fernandez Antonio Garcia in the 60H (8.24). Also in the High Jump bronze was taken by Andri Mahin (1.85m). National silvers were won by Leah Bergin with a break through performance of 57.60 in the 400, after a 60.70 heat and Keith Pike in the 60m in a time of 6.97 after a 7.08 semi. In the 800 Emer Treacy pb`d with a fine 2.26.46 in 4th place while Josh Stubbs in the junior men`s 800 was 3rd in his heat just failing to make the cut after a 2.01.27 run.
