Clonliffe Harriers are sad to learn of the passing today (Sept 28th) of Tommy Coyle. Tommy was the Clonliffe sprint coach throughout the 1980s and into the 1990s. He coached the Clonliffe crack men’s 4 x 100 team to a club record of 41.90 in 1987, a record that stood for over 25 years until 2014. Tommy also served as ladies captain in 1993 and 1994. The club extends its sympathies to Tommy’s family and friends.
